"I'm 18 and thinking about my sexuality".

Psychologies magazine agony aunt, Mary Fenwick, answers this reader's question:

"I'm 18 and within the last six months I have noticed myself thinking more often about my sexuality. At first I considered myself to be going through a phase but now I'm not convinced. My problem is that pronouncing the words "bisexual" or "lesbian" or even the phrase "still trying to figure it out" seems impossible. I think I fear most the opinions and reactions of others. How can I expect my parents, family and friends to accept me for who I am if I lack so much confidence myself?"
